➤Sunflower is a delicate crop, prone to high harvesting losses. This is especially true for harvesting with maize attachments, where the plants must be sown at a spacing of 75 cm. The wide spacing means that the distance between the plants in the row is short, so the mature hats bump against each other during harvesting. This causes the valuable seeds to fall off.
A solution is to use a row-less harvesting machine for sunflowers. With this machine, the full working width is harvested without having to worry about row spacing, which can vary from 40 cm to 75 cm. This makes it ideal for both individual users and contractors.
➤ Long crop dividers of the SUN STREAM hedders have a basket shape inside, which greatly reduces seed loss. The spilled seed slides into the ploughshare, under the auger which transports the harvested material. The auger drive is located on the left side and uses a chain transmission. A V-belt on the left also transmits the drive to the Schumacher gearbox, which drives the hat shear bar. On the right hand side, the auger of the header transmits the drive to the feed ROTATED drum located in front of the auger.

Il seme fuoriuscito scivola nel vomere, sotto la coclea che trasporta il materiale raccolto. L'azionamento della coclea si trova sul lato sinistro e utilizza una trasmissione a catena. Una cinghia trapezoidale a sinistra trasmette anche l'azionamento al cambio Schumacher, che aziona la barra di taglio del cappello. Sul lato destro, la coclea della testata trasmette l'azionamento al tamburo di alimentazione ROTATO situato davanti alla coclea.
